Scope
The Senior Reservoir Engineer will
lead the evaluation of input for
both the company's field development
studies exploration activities. It
is a role for an experienced
Reservoir Engineer who has the
knowledge and ability to work in
both in a Field Development role and
Exploration. The candidate is
expected to determine the scale of
projects, find appropriate solutions
using classical analytical
techniques and/or simulation. The
candidate will be expected to
develop into an advisor and
technical expert (SME) within
Petrogas or progress into Technical
management role.
Key
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Ability to quickly review and
analyse complex technical
information, and provide a
commercially aware and astute
technical decisions. The
candidate must have an
understanding of field
development issues such as sand
control, flow assurance, scaling
as well as knowledge of
commercial (economic) and risk
analysis methods.

Deliver fit for purpose
reservoir engineering studies;
contribute to Field Development
Plans and Field Status Updates.
Specify conventional analytical
techniques, (well test analysis,
material balance, decline curve
analysis etc) and /or numerical
simulation.

Demonstrate a depth of knowledge
and experience in reservoir
development planning and
reservoir performance
evaluation, reservoir modeling
and simulation, reserve
estimation and reservoir
geology, reservoir management,
log analysis, and at least some
well completion and intervention
understanding.

Able to provide, or be an
"informed buyer" of related
engineering products such as
well testing design and
interpretation, well design and
completion skills, designing
artificial lift systems for
inputs to field development
planning. Familiarity with
diverse Petroleum Engineering
software is essential.

Responsible for volumetric and
reserves estimations to the
appropriate standards.
Qualification/Experience:
-
Graduate/ Post Graduate In
Petroleum Engineering or
relevant technical discipline.

Minimum 6 to 8 years experience
in hydrocarbon development and
production teams and sound.

Relevant experience in carbonate
E&D environments. Essential
